Roding, 17. May 2010 − Still almost four weeks until the 6. Mühlbauer Run takes place, and already more than 1,200 participants have registered in order to support the social aim of the run. Now the run organization team hopes for a final spurt concerning the registration process because the fund raising campaign initiated by the Josef Mühlbauer Foundation for the development of the Nkuke school will benefit from each earned euro.
In the meantime also many companies show their support for the Mühlbauer Run and the social project. “Without their help it would not be possible to realize a run in such a dimension. We would be very happy, if we are able to win further companies for the Mühlbauer Run in the next few weeks. Opportunities for sponsoring still exist and the donation account is also active”, stated Tilo Rosenberger-Süß, spokesman of the company.
A wide variety of disciplines will ensure that sportsmen of any age and ability can participate: From the sporting ambitious athletes (18.75 km / 12.5 km) to hobby runners (6.25 km) and Nordic Walker. The younger runners can attend the student-run and the bambini run (3.0 km / 0.5 miles). Armin Wolf, sport director of radio Charivari and well known for his spirited presentations will moderate the run.
But it is not only sports the Mühlbauer run offers, also the diverse event program is impressive and guarantees a great atmosphere: The live band "Panhandle Mystery" provides musical entertainment, while a drum group with African djembe drums and Aerobic / Kick-Bo demonstrations will fire up the public. It is a matter of course that food and refreshments will be served. Also the kids will enjoy the Mühlbauer run: Through the support of the Thomas Wiser House a bouncy castle, climbing wall and face painting are available for younger visitors. The company Mühlbauer invites the entire public at the headquarters in the industrial area Roding on this particular day.
